Lots on the line tonight for Dallastown, Susquehannock

Are you fan of good soccer? Or maybe you just enjoy a good, old-fashioned rivalry match?

If that's the case, head on over to Susquehannock High School tonight for the YAIAA boys' soccer semifinals. In the nightcap, YAIAA Division I champion Dallastown meets defending Class AA state champion Susquehannock at 7:30 p.m.

For the Wildcats, it's a chance to avenge a pair of losses to the Warriors. Susquehannock beat Dallastown, 1-0, in overtime in the YAIAA final last year, and delivered the Wildcats their only loss this year - a 3-2 defeat on Sept. 12.

Dallastown finished 18-1 this year, and a perfect 12-0 in Division I. After a recent win against Central York, Wildcats coach Mitch Groh said winning the county title has been a goal for his team since the beginning of the season.

Susquehannock (12-3-1, 10-2 in YAIAA Division II) went through a rough patch earlier in the year, but has won nine in a row and hasn't conceded a goal in six games. The Warriors are coming off wins against South Western and Div. II champion West York.
