West York's Harris getting Divison I attention

West York's Corey Harris has been making the rounds to a few Division I schools the last few weeks. And though he doesn't have any offers yet, Bulldogs coach Ron Miller said schools "like what they're seeing."

Miller said his star tailback - who has 704 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns this year - visited Marshall a last month, and two weeks ago visited Syracuse to take in the the Orange's home game that Saturday against South Florida.

Harris is a dynamic athlete, with good speed and instincts. He is also a standout safety for the Bulldogs, although at 5-foot-9, 175 pounds he could afford to fill out a bit more before moving to the college level.

Miller said schools are undecided as to where Harris would play in college. Syracuse, for example, is recruiting Harris as an athlete, and would figure out his position later should Harris end up playing for the Orange.

"Schools aren't sure, is he a tailback? A slot receiver? Is he a D-back? Is he a special teams kid?" Miller said. "And I'm not helping him much because he's done a lot for us. He is our tailback now, that's the biggest thing for us."
