Lancaster Mennonite opened Section Three play Wednesday with a 3-0 win against Lancaster Catholic.

A narrow field made things tough in the early going for both teams but in the twenty-third minute, Ian Burkhart opened the scoring for Lancaster Mennonite after being sent through the defense by a pass from David Alejos.

Mennonite was able to open up the game more in the 2nd half Kyle Richards played a pass over the top to hit Alejos in stride. Alejos then played the ball over the goalie for a score in the forty-seventh minute.

Just over a minute later, Eric Bailey finished off the scoring for Mennonite.  Overall, the shots were 8-3 in favor of LMH along with corner at 10-3.
