Lancaster Mennonite defeats Conestoga Valley in league championship rematch

(Submitted by Justin Bandy)

Although a rematch of the past two year’s league championships, the CV team is younger than in previous years Lancaster Mennonite was able to take a 4-0 win on Friday morning.  LMH had the advantage in shots on goal, 12-4 and the advantage in corners, 8-2.  Erik Peachey scored two goals for the Blazers, one off a corner kick while the other one came about through a scrappy play in the box with a number of CV and LMH players scrambling for the ball. Mennonite’s Ian Burkhart had a goal and 3 assists and was involved in each score.
