Hempfield captured their first L-L baseball crown since 2008 on Saturday with a 9-0 win over Annville-Cleona.
With the win, the Black Knights avenge their 2013 finals loss to Lancaster Catholic.
“I’m just happy for the kids. It’s been a rough week. The rainouts and gearing yourself up and not playing can kind of deflate you,” Hempfield coach Jeremy Morrison said. “I’m just proud of the kids and happy for them because this is a memory they’ll have for the rest of their lives.”
