Alexandra Leslie talks about commitment to Rochester and senior season

Plenty of National Signing Day ceremonies were postponed due the unforgiving winter of 2014. However, I was able to catch up with Manheim Township forward Alexandra Leslie after the Streaks most recent win over Hempfield.

Leslie has committed to the University of Rochester to continue her playing career.  The Yellowjackets compete in Division III of the NCAA’s University Athletic Association and Liberty League.

Rochester is currently 7-11 but has averaged 20 wins over the past three seasons and made the D-III Final Four in 2010.

Leslie cited that academics was the most important aspect of her decision-making while discussing her choices with her parents.

Manheim Township is currently 21-0 overall and will try to finish the regular season perfect when they host Warwick on Thursday.
