Conestoga Valley inducts first wrestling hall of fame class


Prior to their Section Two showdown with Garden Spot,

Conestoga Valley inducted the inaugural class of their wrestling half of fame. Inducted were Allen Uyeda (’67), Bill Myers (’76), Mark Keller (’81), Brady Myers (’92) and Phil Hursh (‘92).

Uyeda was the school’s first state champion in 1966 in

the 127-pound division and came in second in the state in 1967,

Bill Myers took 3rd in the state in 1976 in the 155-pound division.

Keller was the state runner-up in 1981 in the 112-pound division.

Brady Myers took fourth in the state in 1992 in the 160-pound division.

Hursh placed fifth in the 119-pound division in 1992.
