According to this Lancaster Online Story, Cocalico may be getting their wish to stay in Section Two. After last year’s section realignment, the Eagles were approaching 2014 as if they would move down to Section Three after they were unable to find a trading partner in the “Hornberger Rule”.  However, it now looks as though Ephrata (0-9) could be that trading partner Cocalico has been looking for.

"Nothing has been confirmed but we have given the OK for the league to make the change. We are very excited to be staying in Section 2!!! It appears to be the best for both schools," Cocalico coach Dave Gingrich said in an email Thursday morning.

Check back as more details unfold.
