On Tuesday, the Spring Grove and New Oxford boys and girls basketball teams met. The girls played in Spring Grove and the boys played in New Oxford. In a crazy turn of events, both games were forced to be played at the respective middle schools due to last minute technical issues.

At Spring Grove High School, one of the dividers in the gym that is used for Phys Ed classes was stuck and could not be lifted up, forcing the girls game to be moved to Spring Grove Middle. At New Oxford High School, the scoreboard would not work, forcing the game to be moved to New Oxford Middle School. The change may have eliminated home court advantage as the visiting team won both games.
