Gettysburg's Erin Stephan earns 1st place at Susquehanna Indoor High School Classic


Gettysburg High School's Erin Stephan earned a first place finish in the girls 400 meter run at the Susquehanna Indoor High School Classic that took place this weekend with a time of 1:02.13.  She also finished fifth in the 55 meter hurdles with a time of 9:15

Stephan was not the only Hanover-area athlete to perform well at the Classic.

New Oxford's Karissa Floyd finished in seventh place in the girls 400 run and Gettysburg's Da'Jah Spivey finished 20th

Gettysburg's Genesis Mercedes finished seventh in the 200m with a time of 28.47. Teammate Kayelyn Gormley finished ninth in the 1 mile run with a time of 5:47.74. New Oxford's Marissa Misner finished 30th in the mile with a time of 7:00.25

In field events, Gettysburg's Rachael Sullivan finished eighth in the shot put with a throw of 28-2 and teammate Maddie Pecatis finished 13th with a distance of 25-11

On the boys' side, Gettysburg's Dan Filler finished third in the 3,000 meter run with a time of 9:44.27.
