NOTES

• New Oxford's Ashley Caster is a beast down low. She can score seemingly at will. She has several strong post moves and has a bevy of guards who excel at getting her the ball. The guards (Emily Clinton, Emily Lawrence, Jensen Sneeringer) also have some game themselves so they open the lane for Caster. The one thing Caster needs to work on is staying out of foul trouble. She dominated the first quarter Friday night but foul trouble kept her out of most of the second and third quarters.
• As Coach Sanders calls them Em and Em (Lawrence and Clinton), they are two guards that are not afraid of a little contact. Clinton consistently uses a quick first step to gain space between her and the defender and drives to the lane usually getting to the foul line. Lawrence stands at 5-foot-4 yet came up with one of the games biggest rebounds down low with the bigs.
