Elizabethtown senior Kevin Brady (Delone Catholic) set a personal best in pole vault last week as he helped his team to a fifth place finish out of 17 teams in the Ursinus Bow-Tie Classic, the Blue Jay's season opener.

Brady's 14'6" not only was a personal best but also was good enough to win. Brady dominated the field and was the only competitor to vault over 14 feet.

Earlier in the day, Brady set personal records in the 60-meter hurdles twice. He finished fourth in the final breaking his PR with a time of 8.69.
