South Western alum and Marywood sophomore Kimberly Vogan was named the Disney Women's Soccer/National Soccer Coaches Association of America Division III Player of the Week for the week of September 22nd-September 28th.
The honor marks the first time a Marywood athlete has received a national weekly honor from the NSCAA according to a press release from Marywood.
For the week, Vogan scored three goals including two game-winning goals in back-to-back conference wins.
She started off the week with a game winning header off of a corner kick in an 8-2 win over Cedar Crest and then she scored two goals in a 3-0 win against Bible Baptist.
In addition to the NSCAA award, Vogan was also named the Colonial States Athletic Conference Player of the Week.
After a tie to start the week, Marywood's record sits at 3-5-2.
