Pequea Valley

Class: 3A

Head Coach: Mike Choi (11-9)

2015 was a monumental year for the Braves. Scratching and clawing their way to a 6-4 record, Pequea Valley secured their first winning season in school history. With one big check mark out of their way, the Braves can now look to another first in program history; the playoffs.

To take the next step, Pequea Valley will look to junior quarterback Jordan Lapp, who passed for over 1600 yards and rushed for over 300 in 2015, to lead the offense.

With a lot of his weapons graduated, Lapp will have to rely on a number new faces. Someone Lapp could look to is senior receiver Brandon Hooper, who caught seven balls for 81 yards in 2015.

On the defensive side, the Braves are bringing back two big pieces in Nathan Kovalick and Connor Horsts who combined for over 150 tackles last season.

Pequea Valley won five games in head coach Mike Choi’s maiden season and won six games in 2015. Could 2016 be the next step for Pequea Valley?
