Team:

Lampeter-Strasburg

Class: 4A

Head Coach: John Manion (137-62)

The Pioneers successfully defended their section title in 2015 after claiming a share of the Section Two crown late in the regular season.

L-S now enters their 2016 campaign without three-year starting QB Collin Shank (graduation) but will be returning some offensive playmakers in Shane Lawler and Chad Gaudino. Lawler led the Pioneers in rushing last season with 726 yards and ten scores while also contributing 28 receptions for 384 yards. Meanwhile Gaudino racked up 32 receptions in 2016 with eight total touchdowns.

While the Pioneers may be a bit more run-heavy this season, they still have the firepower to make plenty of noise in a loaded section.
