The championship pairings have been set in the Chambersburg Men's Slow Pitch Softball League playoffs.

In losers bracket finals played Monday, Moose 842 advanced in the American Division by edging New Franklin Ruritan 34-33 in 10 innings, and Olympian Athletics got past Blazin' Dragon Entertainment 19-16 to reach the National Division final.

The National Division championship is tonight, with Olympian facing GQ Creations at 6:30 at Memorial Park. GQ Creations needs just one win to claim the title. Should Olympian win the game, the teams would battle again at 7:45 for the crown.

In the American Division, Moose 842 will take on IMRS at 6:30 Wednesday. A Moose victory would set up a winner-take-all final at 7:45, while IMRS needs just one win to earn the title.

Against New Franklin Ruritan, Moose piled up 15 runs in the bottom of the first inning to lead 15-3. But New Franklin fought back with 11 runs in the third and caught Moose in the ninth when it scored seven runs and Moose answered with four.

But in the 10th, after New Franklin got just one run, Moose came back with two for the win.

Ronnie Guyer cracked four home runs for Moose and Chris Picking was 6-for-7. Eric Bennett belted three home runs for New Franklin and Nick Duke was 5-for-6.
