As usual, the Main Line high school girls' tennis season last fall produced some outstanding performances, on both a team and individual level.
Episcopal Academy (10-4 overall, 6-0 Inter-Ac) captured the Inter-Ac team title and with Agnes Irwin (11-1) finishing second and Baldwin School (8-3) finishing third. In the Inter-Ac individual tournament, Agnes Irwin captured the team portion with Episcopal Academy finishing second.
Conestoga (20-2 overall, 16-0 during the regular season) enjoyed its fifth straight year as undefeated Central League champions, with Harriton (16-3 overall) finishing in second place. The Pioneers advanced to the PIAA District One Class AAA team championship final, and competed in the PIAA Class AAA state tournament.
Shipley advanced to the Friends Schools League championship final, falling to Germantown Friends in the title match. Villa Maria Academy advanced to the semifinals of the PIAA Class AAA team tournament.
On the individual level, Harriton's Rachel Benstock and Gav Rubenstein advanced to the PIAA District One Class AAA doubles tournament.
Conestoga's Robyn Ferraro captured the Central League singles crown and advanced to the quarterfinal of the district tournament. Conestoga's No. 1 doubles team of Kaylee Yan and Lauren Ge advanced to the PIAA Class AAA state doubles tournament.
Villa Maria Academy's Danielle Rufus teamed with Haley Noll to win the AACA doubles championship and the PIAA Class AA District 1 doubles title, and made it to the PIAA Class AA state doubles tournament quarterfinals.
The All-Main Line high school girls' tennis teams are selected by the coaches. Because Main Line Media News covers 19 high schools, the Main Line Media News sports staff limits the number of spots available to first team, second team and honorable mention — but follows the priority of coaches' selections.

Grace Leasure, Academy of Notre Dame - Promising freshman posted a fine record at No. 1 singles for the Irish, and received first team All-InterAc honors.Meredith Hughes, Academy of Notre Dame - Junior posted excellent record at No. 2 singles for the Irish, and received first team All-InterAc honors.Ryshena Providence, Agnes Irwin - Senior co-captain went undefeated (12-0) at the No. 1 singles position during the regular season. She then captured first place at the No. 1 singles spot in the InterAc Girls Tennis Tournament, helping the Owls to capture first place in the team tourney. Camille Smukler, Agnes Irwin - Sophomore played No. 2 singles for the Owls, posting an 11-1 record, and captured first place at the second singles spot in the InterAc Girls Tennis Tournament.Catie Burkhart, Agnes Irwin - Freshman posted excellent 10-2 record at third singles for storing Owls squad, then advanced to the finals of the InterAc tournament at third singles, and gave a strong showing there.Connie Wang, Baldwin School - Senior played No. 1 singles for the Bears, and received first team All-InterAc honors. Was Bears' MVP, and placed third at InterAc tournament.Selena Maity, Baldwin School - Senior played first doubles for the Owls, posting a 9-0 record and receiving first team All-InterAc honors. Finished second at the InterAc Tournament.Ali Thaler, Baldwin School - Junior played first doubles for the Owls, posting a 9-0 record and receiving first team All-InterAc honors. Finished second at the InterAc Tournament.Robyn Ferraro, Conestoga - Senior won the Central League Singles Tournament and compiled a 23-4 record. A transfer from Southern Lehigh, she proved to be a standout leader and will play tennis for St. Joseph's University next fall. Noted for her outstanding footwork.Lauren Ge, Conestoga - Senior tri-captain posted a 25-2 playing first doubles. A first team All-Central League doubles player, she placed third in the Central doubles championships and fourth in the PIAA District One doubles tourney. Noted for her outstanding serve.Kaylee Yan, Conestoga - Junior posted a 25-2 playing first doubles. A first team All-Central League doubles player, she placed third in the Central doubles championships and fourth in the PIAA District One doubles tourney. Noted for her reflex volleys and improving net play.Lauren Banner, Conestoga - Senior tri-captain played second singles and posted a 22-4 record, finishing third in the Central League singles tournament. Also won the Central League doubles tournament for the second year in a row. The Pioneers' MVP, she was first team All-Central League in singles.Genevieve McCormick, Episcopal Academy - Junior posted an excellent won-loss record at No. 1 singles for the InterAc champions, and received first team All-Delco honors as well as first team All-InterAc selection.Caroline O'Rourke, Episcopal Academy - Senior captain played No. 2 singles for the InterAc champions, and lost only one match all season. Received both first team All-InterAc and first team All-Delco honors.Nadiyah Browning, Episcopal Academy - Sophomore was undefeated (12-0) and played a number of matches at No. 2 singles for the InterAc champions. Received first team All-InterAc honors.Zoe Ginsberg, Friends' Central - Freshman was the MVP of the Phoenix squad, posting a 19-2 record and winning the Friends Schools League Tournament title at third singles.Rachel Benstock, Harriton - Junior played first singles for the powerful Rams' squad, going undefeated in Central League team matches and finishing second at the Central League singles tournament. Was the Rams' co-MVP and first team All-Central League in singles.Jen White, Harriton - Senior captain was Rams' co-MVP, posting an 18-0 record including 11-0 in league play and 3-0 in Districts. Played first doubles and top three singles spots for the Rams, and was first team All-Central League in doubles.Gav Rubenstein, Harriton - Junior posted an 18-0 record including 11-0 in league play and 3-0 in Districts. Played first doubles, second singles and third singles for the Rams, and was first team All-Central League in doubles.Simone Burde, Lower Merion - Freshman posted an excellent record at No. 1 singles in the Central League and received first team All-Central League honors in singles. Finished fourth in the Central League singles tournament.Jessica Lin, Radnor - Promising freshman was MVP of a strong Red Raiders' squad, posting a 15-4 record at first and second singles. Placed strongly in both Central League singles and doubles tournaments.Taylor Nguyen, Sacred Heart - Junior posted 10-4 record at first singles, and finished second in AACA singles tournament.Jill Nehrbas, Shipley - Sophomore posted 10-4 record at first singles, and received first team All-Friends' Schools League honors.Brittany Lovett, Shipley - Sophomore posted 10-3 record at second singles, and received first team All-Friends' Schools League honors.Alex Cattie, Villa Maria Academy - Senior held down the first singles spot for a strong Hurricane squad, posted a fine record in that spot and was voted the squad's MVP.
