Phoenixville's Alex Monteiro netted a pair of goals to lead the Pioneer Athletic Conference All-Stars to a 2-0 victory over the Public League Gold All-Stars in the 39th annual Southeastern PA Thanksgiving Classic Sunday at Eastern University.

Monteiro's first-half goal came off an assist from Pottsgrove's Travers Mutton on a cross from the right side deflected by the keeper. The second goal which came in the second half was assisted by Perkiomen Valley's Matt Genuardi on a through-ball that Montiero settled and finished. Spring-Ford goalkeeper Pat Swartz earned the shutout in goal with four saves.

Also participating in the game for the PAC-10 squad was: Methacton's Chris Parisi and Robby Zeigler, Owen J. Roberts' Shane Kelly, Perkiomen Valley's Kyle Charlton, Ryan Szabo and Scott Neal, Pope John Paul II's Drew Glass, Pottsgrove's Ethan Abdalla and Spring-Ford's Kole Lyons, David Gulati, Brian Gryscavage and Jerry Williams.

The team was coached by Perkiomen Valley's Bob McCabe, Spring-Ford's Doug Landis and Pottsgrove's Jay Witkowski.
