Dan DiLiberto connected for the game's only goal four minutes into the second half as the Spring-Ford boys soccer team remained unbeaten in the Pioneer Athletic Conference with a 1-0 victory over Owen J. Roberts Thursday.

Casey Lewis assisted on the goal for the Rams (8-0 PAC-10, 10-1 overall), who were outshot 8-6 by the Wildcats (3-4-1, 5-4-2).

Patrick Swartz made eight saves in posting the shutout. Zach Serbin and James Emery combined for five saves for OJR.Daniel Boone 4, Muhlenberg 0: Jeff Ast had two goals and two assists to lead the Blazers in their shutout of the Berks Conference host Muhls.

Jason Burns and Brenden Valverde each had a goal and an assist for Daniel Boone (5-2-1, 8-3-1), which got seven-save goaltending from Conner Hedgepath.West-Mont Christian 6, Renaissance Academy 0: The two-goal showings of Jacob Gallagher and Alex Fonder, coupled with solo tallies from Daniel Mayk and Tyler Dixon, lifted the Wings to victory in this Tri-County League game.

GIRLS SOCCER

Owen J. Roberts 7, Pottstown 0: Gabby McKee netted four goals and Aubrey Syrek had one goal and two assists to lead the Wildcats to the PAC-10 win.

Hannah Glass and Kate Dempsey also scored for OJR (5-3-1, 6-5-1).

GIRLS TENNIS

Upper Perkiomen 6, Pottsgrove 1: Bolstered by a sweep of the doubles bracket, the Indians outshot the Falcons in their PAC-10 season-ending match.

The best individual showing by UP came from its first-doubles team of Jamie Dennis and Meagan Quinn, who posted a 6-2, 6-0 victory. Pottsgrove's lone point came from Megan Radomicki at third singles.Perkiomen Valley 3, Pottstown 0: The Vikings closed out their PAC-10 regular-season schedule by sweeping the Trojans.

PV lost only one game in the three contested matches, Pottstown unable to fill one singles and two doubles pairings. Owen J. Roberts 4, Phoenixville 3: With a sweep of the singles bracket, the Wildcats closed out their PAC-10 regular season with a narrow victory over the Phantoms.

The best individual showing for Owen J. came at second singles, where Camryn Gelting rolled up a 6-0, 6-0 sweep. Phoenixville found itself extended to three sets in its one doubles wins, and to a tiebreaker in the other.Pope John Paul II 4, Boyertown 3: Their edge in the doubles bracket was key to the Golden Panthers edging out the Bears in their PAC-10 regular-season finale.

The best individual showing for PJP came at third singles, where Mae Maclinatal posted a 6-2, 6-0 victory.

FIELD HOCKEY

Daniel Boone 12, York Country Day 0: Cara Shackelford scored three goals, and Kirsten Gabbert had a goal and three assists, to lead the Blazers (5-7) in their lopsided win over York Country Day School.

BOYS GOLF

Spring-Ford 188, Souderton 190: The difference for the Rams in this non-league match at Turtle Creek was two players finishing a stroke behind the co-leaders.

Matt Keim and Connor Boham shot 37s to follow teammates Jack Andrews and the Big Red's Clay Anders, who tied at the top with 36s. Souderton's next two players shot 38, matching Bennett Detweiler's round for the Rams.Perkiomen School 214, Church Farm 284: Minuette Lassig's 37 carding made him low man for the Panther in their non-league match with Church Farm School at Coatesville Country Club.

Levi Bretschneider followed Lassig with a 41, Alex Hess and Johnny Huang had 45s and Levi Stoudt added a 46 for Perkiomen (3-2).

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY

Perkiomen School 21, Church Farm 47: Justas Valciukas headed another solid showing by the Panthers in their non-league meet with Church Farm School.

Valciukas placed second in the finishing order, the first of five Perkiomen runners to come in among the meet's first seven. Henry Yan, Sasha Vorlicky and Joey Pena followed with a 3-4-5 showing, and Paulius Zaylas came in seventh.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Daniel Boone 3, Muhlenberg 0: Alayanna Roesener's seven kills and three blocks helped the Blazers defeat the Muhls in their Berks Conference contest. Boone won by scores of 25-11, 25-8 and 25-10.

Courtney Vidovich chipped in with 10 kills and four blocks for the locals. Rebecca Feeney added 11 kills and nine blocks while Jillian Braunsberg had three kills and 30 assists.

GIRLS WATER POLO

Hill School 15, Springfield-Montco 8: Maddison Marcheskie hit the nets for a game-high eight goals, and Payton Miles chipped in with a hat trick to key the Blues (5-3) in their non-league win over the Spartans.

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL

Bryn Mawr 3, Ursinus 1: The Bears dropped a four-set match to Bryn Mawr in Centennial Conference play. Set scores were 25-18, 25-16, 23-25 and 25-22.

For Ursinus, Karla Thiele led the way with a match-high 18 kills. Anahi McIntyre added 17 kills, Gina Powers picked up 38 assists and three aces, and Leah Masiello had 21 digs while Powers got 20.
