Somebody was bound to pay for the Cedar Crest girls' soccer team's frustrating 3-2 loss at Conestoga Valley on Monday night.

Somebody turned out to be McCaskey.

The Falcons emphatically bounced back from the CV loss on Wednesday afternoon by pummeling the Red Tornado, 8-0, in a Section One matchup in South Lebanon.

With two goals apiece, Haleigh Echard and Jill Reis led the Falcon rout, while Cece Fiorentino, Sydney Laicha, Gabby Boehmer and Kara Cooper each chipped in with single tallies for Crest, now 6-2 overall and 5-1 in Section One.

The Falcons held McCaskey without a shot or a corner kick in the lopsided contest.
