York Suburban girls' cross country had a strong showing, placing first as a team in the Champions Race at Saturday's Carlisle Invitational. West York was 16th, Spring Grove was 21st, and Eastern York was 36th.

The Trojans' Emma Leik (fourth), Olivia Gettle (fifth) and Samantha Gehly (seventh) all placed in the top 10 individually.

The Red Lion girls' team participated in the Puma Challenge and finished 15th as a team.
