Central York's Kelsey Ibarra placed first overall in 19:12.9, but the Trojan trio of Samantha Gehly, Olivia Gettle and Emma Leik finished second through fourth, respectively, to earn York Suburban a 25-32 victory over the Panthers and beat all four of its competitors in Wednesday's cross country meet at John Rudy Park.Suburban swept Eastern, Dover and York Catholic, 15-50. Gehly led the Trojans with a 20:25.1 finish, a second ahead of Gettle (20:26.5).

Central bested three of its four opponents, with a 15-47 win over Dover and York Catholic, and a 15-50 win against Eastern.

Dover picked up two wins, beating Eastern, 15-40, and York Catholic, 24-31. The Fighting Irish topped the Golden Knights, 15-45.

Wivell leads Red Lion parade: Amanda Wivell led two teammates across the finish line at the front of the field as Red Lion swept four opponents at Copper Beech.

Wivell's time of 22:04.15 won the race by less than a second over Naomi Scharf. Julia Kendrick took third, just ahead of Susquehannock's Rachel Banchiere.

Susquehannock beat Bermudian Springs, West York and Dallastown, as Emily Fourhman was fifth overall.

Dallastown topped two rivals behind Casey Kemp's 10th place. Rachel Crane placed sixth for Bermudian Springs, two spots ahead of West York's Beth Weaver.

Kennard-Dale earns four triumphs: The Rams' Kayla White won the race in 20:23, edging Fairfield's Kaitlyn Beckham by five seconds and leading Kennard-Dale to four team wins.

The only other team winner was South Western, which lost to the Rams but defeated Biglerville, Fairfield and Northeastern.

South Western's Lynne Mooradian took fifth place overall, one spot behind exhibition runner Zoie Cleary of Hanover. Northeastern's Kyleigh Smeltzer was eighth while Biglerville's Gabrielle Johnson took ninth.
