The Mid Penn Colonial Division got a taste of what its cross country competition is going to be like Tuesday ... On the boys side, Shippensburg swept with a 25-28 defeat of James Buchanan and a 26-38 win over Greencastle-Antrim ... Although JB and G-A had the top 3 finishers, Shippensburg put 5 in the top 10, including Nos. 4 through 7 ... Liam Corcoran, of James Buchanan, took first overall in 17:42 ... The top finisher for G-A was Dalton Monn (2nd, 17:49), and Ship's No. 1 was Nathan Thrush (4th, 19:14) ... JB also beat G-A, 23-33 ... In the girls race, G-A earned a sweep, beating JB 27-29 and Ship 24-36 ... The Blue Devils had the top 2 finishers in Shelpby Stouffer (22:06) and Catlyn Hetrick (23:25) ... The Rockets rounded out the top 4 with Amanda Cole (24:12) and Erin Hoffman (24:14) ... JB also beat Shippensburg, 24-35 ... Ship's top finisher was No. 6, Emily Stouffer, who clocked in at 24:25.
