The Lancaster-Lebanon League Chapter of Basketball Officials honored three local seniors as 2011-12 Scholar Athletes on Monday night in Lancaster.

Elco's Kathryn Fuhrman, Cedar Crest's Jon Donley and Lebanon's Ben Leibig all received $1,000 scholarship awards from the Chapter. The student-athletes, all who have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, were nominated by coaches. The trio, along with Penn Manor's Megan Schlegelmilch, was also required to write an essay.
