State College Invitational
Chambersburg athletes brought home 3 first-place efforts from the State College Invitational held at Penn State on Thursday evening Marshay Ryan was first in the long jump (18-0.5) and triple jump (38-1.5), and was also second in the 60 dash (7.9) The other first-place winner was Zeb Yoder, whose 14-9 height in the pole vault tied the school record set by Pete Johncour The Trojans set one other school record, in the girls 4 x 400 relay - the team of Ryan, Amanda Dubbs, Kyra Englerth and Natalie Holder took third in 4:14.1 Holder was third in the 800 and hit a state meet qualifying time of 2:19.7 The other third-place finish was by Danny Klink in the boys 3000 run, in 9:28.6.
