For the second straight game, winless Waynesboro played another winless team and this time the Maidens broke through for a win over Littlestown After leading just 5-3 after one period, Waynesboro (1-21) jumped way ahead with an 18-4 margin in the second quarter over the Bolts (0-20) Dori Kozain scored 11 points and brought down 12 rebounds to lead the Maidens, Sam Nichols added 10 points and Lauren Wagaman contributed 9 points and 5 boards.

Brooke Porter held their big girl (6-foot-3 Cecily Carl) to seven points. We got the usual hustle from Clawson, strong rebounding from Johnson and never-give-up shooting from (Shayla) Keller." The Wildcats (15-7) got 14 points from Hannah Brown and 10 from Meghan Ross.

It was good to get a win, but we'd like to have had a better tuneup for Friday (MAPL playoff game)."
