Despite his efforts, the Blue Storm boys basketball team lost in overtime, 83-77, to highly-regarded Princeton Day Academy, a suburban Washington, D.C., school in Laurel, Md.
Mercersburg (6-10) had a 15-point lead early in the fourth quarter, but Princeton Day (24-11) rallied to tie the score 68-68 at the end of regulation.
Princeton Day outscored the Blue Storm 15-9 in the overtime period.
Wills, a 6-1 senior guard, connected on 17 of 21 shots from the floor, including 2-for-3 on 3-pointers, and was 10-for-16 from the foul line.
In addition, Wills also led the Blue Storm with 9 rebounds and 5 assists.
Also for Mercersburg, Patrick Ryan had 13 points, Reggie Fiumano and Mike Collins scored 8 apiece and Trustin Riley had 2.
