From staff reports

Chambersburg's swimming teams celebrated parents day in the Trojans' last home meet on Tuesday, taking two victories from Susquehannock in a non-league matchup.

The boys won, 103-67, and the girls won, 109-61.

The Trojan boys (6-4) got double firsts from Chandler Johnson (200 freestyle, 100 butterfly), Bryton Zook (200 individual medley, 100 breaststroke) and Mike Gyurisin (50 and 100 free). They also won the 200 medley relay and the 400 freestyle relay.

The Warriors took first place in the 400 free and the 100 backstroke.

Chambersburg boys coach Mark Shoap said, "We had some really close races. Two boys I'd like to mention are Julian Chance and Juan Gramajo. They dropped a lot of time. Both of them are new to the team and it's exciting to watch their progress. Susquehannock's coach, Brian Wingerd, swam for us and for the YMCA when I was coaching. It was fun to compete against him. It being our last home meet, it was nice to go out with a win."

The Trojan girls (6-4) were paced by three double winners, Lauren Ellis (200 and 100 freestyles), Hannah Parson (50 free and 100 backstroke) and Abby Stauffer (400 free, 100 breaststroke). Also finishing first were Karlee Metz (200 IM) and McKenzie Johnson (100 fly).

Chambersburg swept the three relays.

Trojan girls coach Donnie Miller said, "Team-wise it was a nice way to end our home regular season. Individually there were some mixed results. We haven't practiced because of the weather (school closings), so that's to be expected. McKenzie Johson swam well. Logan Law and Rachael Maynard had some good times, as did Erin Miller in the butterfly."
