MPC COLONIAL

Boiling Springs 35

Greencastle-Antrim 32

Wednesday, at Boiling Springs

Mid Penn Colonial Div. game

Greencastle-Antrim had a chance to bury Boiling Springs early, but cold shooting kept that from happening "I think we missed our first 12 shots," Blue Devil coach Mike Rhine said, "and they were wide-open shots and shots underneath. If we'd made half of them, we'd have won easily. We moved the ball well, but we could not make a shot." G-A (2-3, 1-2 MPC) did lead 10-6 after one period, but scored just 2 points in the second period Hannah Crist led the Blue Devils with 12 points and Chloe Hoover grabbed 13 rebounds The Bubblers (4-1, 3-0 MPC) led 35-30 until G-A made a steal, then got it back; but Jane Herman's 3-pointer at the buzzer just missed.
