HAGERSTOWN, Md. - Heritage Academy captured the Mason-Dixon Christian Conference baseball championship on Tuesday, defeating Cumberland Valley Christian School, 5-4.

For CV Christian (11-3), Chris Owens went 3-for-4.
The Blazers left six runners on base, including two in the seventh. The loss snapped a seven-game winning streak.
CVC coach Keith Propst said, "We had a great season. We just came up a little short at the end. Our record last year was 4-8 and this year it was 11-3. I'm proud of how the guys did."
