From staff reports

Southern Fulton was eliminated from the District 5 Class A tournament, 9-5, by Meyersdale.

The Indians took an early lead, 4-1, after two innings but Meyersdale scored a combined seven runs in the third and fourth innings.

The Indians (15-5) committed five errors.

"It was a game where each team gave up five earned runs, but errors were the difference," Southern Fulton coach Dustin Fischer said. "They rattled our pitchers and got in our kids' heads. We kept fighting but just came up short."

Jordan Clingerman went 2-for-3 for the Indians, Tristan Douglas went 1-for-4 with two RBIs and a stolen base. Zane Baker also stole a base.

"Overall, it was a great year," Fischer said. "The baseball program is going in the right direction. I would take our team any day over the team that we lost to."
