Lancaster Catholic running back Roman Clay broke the career rushing mark of Lebanon Catholic grad Tommy Long during the Crusaders' 32-14 District Three playoff victory over Hershey.
By running for 354 yards and four touchdowns, Clay eclipsed Long's Lancaster-Lebanon League record of 5,662 yards that stood since Long's senior season of 1996. Clay now has 5,717 yards in his career, which will continue this Friday with a date against Cocalico.
