Bermudian Springs field hockey coach Neil Bixler wasn't sure how potent his offense was going to be this year.

With a lot of talent, his Eagles responded nicely racking up a ton of goals to capture the YAIAA Division III crown and get into the District 3 Class AA tournament.

On a team full of eight seniors, it was junior Abby Orwig that led the charge for the Eagles, scoring 19 goals and assisting on 16 others.

We stopped Orwig, the Daily Record/Sunday News Division III Player of the Year, before she could take another shot at the goal to ask her about her favorite vacation spot and what she would want to do with Taylor Swift.

If you were in charge of picking a new mascot for your school, what would you pick?

Warriors or Indians.

If your sport wasn't offered, what other fall sport would you play?

Cross country.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

To fly.

What are three items you'd take with you on a deserted island?

Clothes, a picture of my family and an object that would help me provide food.

If you could have dinner with any three people dead or alive, who would they be?

Taylor Swift because she's my favorite singer. My favorite football team is the Steelers, so maybe somebody from the team like Troy Polamalu, and then somebody that has played field hockey at a high level.

Did you have a nickname growing up? If so, how'd you get it?

My dad called me Abner.

Favorite music to drive to?

Pop. Like stations 96.9 and 99.3.

What is your favorite subject in school?

Math.

What's your most favorite and least favorite drill your coach does in practice?

My favorite is four versus two continuous. My least drill is just dribbling the ball around inside the circle.

Who's the toughest opponent you faced this season?

Probably my teammate Rachael Kotula because she's a very good player and has very good stick skills. She's got great overall knowledge of the game.

What's the most interesting vacation you've ever taken?

Going to the Caribbean.

Name one place you'd love to go during your lifetime.

Paris or another country.

What was your favorite thing to do at elementary school recess?

Monkey bars.

What sport are you the absolute worst at?

I played three sports last year, so out of basketball, field hockey and track, I'm probably the worst at track.

Are you a clean bedroom person or a messy bedroom person? What would be the first thing that someone would notice upon entering your bedroom?

I have a clean room. The first thing somebody would notice is that it is kind of cluttered with movies, books and pictures. But it's organized.

Favorite reindeer?

Rudolph.

Best Christmas gift you've received so far in your life?

Field hockey stick.
