The Christian Academy scored twice within a four-minute span early in the second half to seemingly take control, but host Cumberland Christian rallied to pull even and then netted the game-winner midway through the second overtime period to take Thursday's Tri-State Christian Conference semifinal, 3-2.

Gracie Cryan's unassisted goal opened the scoring 10 minutes into the second half, and senior captain Adriana Lacy followed shortly after by converting a feed from Abby Mannion to give the Crusaders (9-7) a 2-0 lead.

Madison Dutton took the loss despite making a dozen saves.

The Christian Academy will face Pilgrim Academy for third place Saturday at Cairn University.
