No one in the Catholic League could touch Archbishop Carroll's Rachel Tygh and Stef Barkofski. The pair went undefeated at second and third singles, respectively.

Why should doubles be any different?

It wasn't.

Tygh and Barkofski capped a perfect league season by beating Cardinal O'Hara's Lauren Granata and Katie Feehery, 6-2, 4-6, 6-3, Thursday to win the Catholic League doubles championship at Legacy Education and Tennis Center.

The victory earns the seniors a spot in the District 12 championship next Tuesday at Legacy. The winner of that match advances to the PIAA doubles championships.

Barrack Hebrew 4, Girard College 1: Gabrielle Hoessly and Alexandra Gutierez won at second and third singles, respectively, to lead the Cougars to the Penn-Jersey League title.

Maya Shapira and Talia Raikin won in straight sets at first doubles. Debbie Spivak and Reena Wolnek needed three sets to win at second doubles.
