Lebanon County will be well represented at next weekend's District Three Swimming Championships at Cumberland Valley. Three events will feature top-seeded entrants from the county, and over a dozen swimmers from the area are seeded among the top five.

Palmyra's girls' team has two top seeds in Class AA, including Peyten Lyons in the 100-yard backstroke, an event that has three swimmers from the county among the top five. Lyons' teammate Katie Schreckengast is seeded second and Annville-Cleona's Allyna May is fifth in the event. Palmyra's girls' 200-medley relay team is also seeded first by over a second.

Northern Lebanon's Ethan Gehenio also has the fastest seed time in the boys' Class AA 100 backstroke. Gehenio is also second in the 200 IM, while Palmyra's Danny Tunitis is fifth in the same event. Cougar Evan Downey is ranked fourth in the 50 freestyle as well.

Back on the girls' side, Lyons is fourth in the 200 IM, teammate Reney Hess is third in the 100 butterfly, the Cougars' 200 freestyle relay team is seeded fifth and the school's 400 free relay is second. In the 100 breaststroke, Northern Lebanon's Orianna Barone is ranked fifth.
