A quartet of Lebanon County wrestlers will be grappling with high expectations in today's PIAA District Three Sectional Tournaments.

The Sectionals, split into Class AA and AAA, will be contested at seven different venues across the district's region starting Saturday morning.

County Meet champion Northern Lebanon joins Annville-Cleona and Elco at the AA-II meet at Hamburg H.S. Cedar Crest and Lebanon are competing in the AAA-IV tourney at Governor Mifflin H.S. Palmyra grapples at Central Dauphin East in the AAA-II bracket.

Locally, four wrestlers locked down No. 1 seeds in their respective weight classes. Annville-Cleona's Jeffrey Inman and Justin Ulrich both hold top billing for the Dutchmen. Inman carries a 33-2 record into the 132-pound battle at Hamburg, while Ulrich (20-10) enters as the favorite at 160.

In addition, the Lancaster-Lebanon Section Three champion Vikings also own a pair No. 1's in Evan Daub and Caleb Blatt. NL's Daub (34-4) owns the high seed at 152, followed by Elco's Zach Bankus (27-8). Blatt (37-3) is the top dog at the county's most competitive class. Blatt, along with Elco's Matt Achey (21-8) and A-C's Phil Corle (26-10) hold three of the top four spots.

Other top ranked locals include No. 2 seeds in Palmyra's 220-pounder Ben Martin (25-4), A-C's 113-pounder Matthew Darok (27-6) and A-C's 138-pounder Tanner Pyles (13-9).

The individual championships are scheduled for Friday, Feb.
