Lebanon County competitors had a tough go of it at the Lancaster-Lebanon League Swimming Championships on Thursday night.

The locals departed Lititz Rec Center with just two seventh-place medals and one eighth-place reward.

The seventh-place finishes came from Northern Lebanon's Oriana Barone in the 100-yard breast stroke and the Cedar Crest quartet of Brianna Smith, Kelsey Lyter, Lynn Collins and Anna Moffitt in the 200-yard freestyle relay. Another Cedar Crest team, Smith, Lyter, Moffitt and Caroline Gelgot, placed eighth in the 400 freestyle relay.

Cedar Crest placed 11th in the 13-team field with six total points. Manheim Township captured the team title with 104 points.

The boys' portion of the L-L meet is set for tonight at 7 p.m., also at Lititz Rec.
