The Northeastern boys' basketball team exploded for 43 points in the second half Wednesday against Kennard-Daleand picked up its ninth league victory of the season, beating the Rams, 65-36.

Khalid Nwandu poured in 25 points, including all five free-throw attempts. The Bobcats sunk 12-of-17 from the line.

Kennard-Dale's Franco Rossi scored 14 to lead the Rams.

Mike Fox scored 22 points and Kevin Hutchinson added 15 for the Lions, who outscored Spring Grove 30-18 from the field.

Hanover 46, York County Tech 25: The host Nighthawks scored 29 points in the second half to pull away from the Spartans.

Nick Trish scored 13 points and Brady Goodfellow added 12 for Hanover. The pair combined for half of Hanover's field goals and four of the Nighthawks' five 3-pointers.

York Tech, which trailed 17-16 at halftime, was held to two points in the third period. Donte Grim led the Spartans with 10 points.
