The Spring Grove girls' basketball team sank more buckets than Susquehannock did Wednesday by a margin of 18-17 from the field, but the Warriors used a 17-10 scoring edge from the foul line earn a 51-48 win.

Shannon Druck scored 18 points to lead Susquehannock. Katie Wagner added 13 points and Makenzie Fancher scored 10.

Spring Grove was paced by Morgan Arden's 20 points and nine rebounds. The Rockets also got a double-double from Brooke Osborne (11 points, 11 rebounds) and 10 points from Miranda Markle.

Biglerville 53, Fairfield 36: The Canners held the host Green Knights to single digits in each of the final three periods to take the victory.

Rebecca Isaac paced Biglerville with 19 points. Maddie Wenk added 11 for the Canners, who erased an 11-10 deficit after one period to win.

Fairfield was led by 13 points from Kelly Quealy, who scored her school's lone 3. Lexy Junker added nine points.

West York 56, Central York 41: The Bulldogs kept the Panthers under double digits in the middle two quarters, collecting their ninth victory.

Playing without senior Sarah Shearer, the Bulldogs were paced by Kari Lankford's 15 points. Heather Zinn scored 13 and Raychel Johnson collected 10.

Central York's Sam Sweeney posted a game-high 20 points.

Kennard-Dale 61, Bermudian Springs 44: Sara Tarbert scored 25 points to pace Kennard-Dale's three double-figure scorers as the Rams downed the host Eagles.

Kennard-Dale grabbed a 16-7 lead after one period and posted a 27-18 edge in the second half to ensure the victory.

Taylor Davis had 12 points and Katelyn Trott added 11 for the Rams.

Bermudian Springs gained 11 points from Mackenzie Farley while the team's leading scorer, Shannon Kuhn, was held to nine points.

South Western 39, New Oxford 30: The visiting Mustangs were held scoreless in the first quarter but rallied to beat New Oxford by outscoring the Colonials 29-9 in the second half.

South Western limited New Oxford to one field goal, scored by 12-point scorer Jensen Sneeringer, in the second half. Meanwhile, Amy Spigelmyer scored 10 of her 14 points in the second half to spur the South Western comeback.

Holly Arey scored all 12 of her points in the second half for the Mustangs.

William Penn was led by Chyna Steele, who scored a game-high 23 points on 10 field goals and two foul shots.
