South Western senior Mike Duffy scored 19 points -- including his 1,000th career point -- to help the Mustangs cruise past Spring Grove, 63-31, on Wednesday night.

The Mustangs (12-5, 9-2 YAIAA Division I) ran out to a 33-11 halftime lead and held the Rockets to single-digit scoring in three quarters.

Duffy entered the game 17 points shy of the milestone. He scored 11 points in the first quarter and hit both of his team's two 3s. Teammate Parker Bean, who crossed the 1,000-point milestone last season, scored a game-high 20 points.

Logan Hagerman paced the Rockets with 10 points.

Dallastown 62, Red Lion 56: The Wildcats took a 16-4 lead after the first quarter and withstood the Lions' 27-point fourth quarter.

Dallastown's Ethan Sutton scored 22 points and Ben Doorn collected 19, including eight in the final quarter.

Evan Miller, Kevin Hutchinson and Jason Rebuck scored 13 apiece for Red Lion. Miller and Hutchinson scored all of their points in the second half, while Rebuck's 13 all came in the second quarter.

Eastern York 70, Littlestown 34: The Golden Knights cruised to a 44-12 halftime lead against the Thunderbolts, collecting their ninth league victory of the season.

Eastern used a balanced scoring attack, highlighted by 12 points apiece from Dalton Reichard and Broguen Nicholas.

Ryan Kehr collected a game-high 16 points for the Thunderbolts.

Biglerville 49, Fairfield 48: The Canners held a 30-13 halftime, then held off a Fairfield rally by scoring seven points at the foul line in the fourth quarter to beat the Green Knights.

Zack Sheets scored 20 points for Biglerville, which added 11 by Jacob Heiland and 10 by Joel Redding.

Fairfield's rally was achieved largely by Jarrett Shoemaker, who scored 20 of his game-high 22 points in the second half, including 11 of Fairfield's 18 third-period points. Quintin Smith added eight of his 10 after halftime.

York Catholic 57, Hanover 43: The Fighting Irish overcame a slow start to defeat the Nighthawks behind Joseph Rost's team-high 15 points.

Rost connected on six field goals, two of which came from beyond the arc. He was joined in double-digit scoring by Aaron O'Brien, who scored 10.

Hanover was led by Nick Trish, whose 16 points led all scorers.

New Oxford 50, Kennard-Dale 40: Marc O'Brien led all scorers with 21 points on 10 field goals and a foul shot, leading the Colonials to a road victory against the Rams.

O'Brien was joined in double-digit scoring by teammate Zach Wildasin (13 points). The Colonials used a 33-13 run in the second and third quarters to pull away.

The Rams offense mustered six 3-pointers, three of which came from Vince Failla.

West York 73, Dover 57: The Bulldogs piled in 44 points in the second half, highlighted by Kevin Rice's game-high 23 points, including five 3-pointers.

Darian McCauley also scored 23 for West York. The Bulldogs connected on 16-of-25 free throws.

The Eagles benefited from 10 3-pointers, including five from Ryan Beck and three from Jared Mummert.
