MERCERSBURG - In a match that lasted about 20 minutes, James Buchanan took a 48-36 victory over rival Greencastle-Antrim in Mid Penn Colonial action on Thursday night.

Of the 14 bouts, nine yielded forfeits. JB received four of them, plus it racked up four falls.

Rockets coach Matt Gordon said, "We won four of the five contested matches. The longest one lasted 3:12. It was just kind of a battle of attrition to get the best matchups."

For JB (2-7, 1-3 MPC), Hunter Faith pinned Wade Rider at 120 pounds, Cameron Fox recorded a fall over Juan Grazette at 145, Casey Glunt pinned Jensen Stoner at 170 and Devin Reed stopped Dwight Henning at 285.

Gordon said, "We're wrestling with eight wrestlers. (Blake) Egolf is wrestling, but he's injured. Of the ones I had going tonight, they wrestled well."

The Blue Devils (0-5, 0-5 MPC) got a pin by Conor Bryant over Dustin Walker at 182 and won five bouts by forfeit.
