The Dover girls' basketball team built a 10-point lead through three quarters and held off South Western, 47-40, on Monday night.

Alayah Hall scored 19 points, including a 3-pointer, for the Eagles while Marissa McMahon posted 12 points. The two combined for 12 of Dover's 17 field goals.

South Western was led by Lauren Schmidt's 14 points, who scored her team's lone 3-pointer. Amy Spigelmyer added 12 points for the Mustangs.

Hanover 51, Bermudian Springs 37: The Hawkettes turned in an impressive defensive performance against the Eagles, surrendering just a single bucket in the third quarter.

Soukaina Tracy paced all scorers with 18 points. Renee Drawbaugh added 17. As a team, Hanover shot 11-of-14 from the foul line.

Shannon Kuhn's 16 points led all Bermudian Springs players.

Biglerville 76, Littlestown 37: The visiting Canners ran out to a 19-2 lead after a first period when Littlestown hit only one of its 19 shots from the field.

Biglerville used the momentum of its early surge to pull away as four players reached double figures, led by 22 points from Olivia Moore. Rebecca Isaac added 15, Katie Camara had 14 and Nettie Baugher scored 11.

Lauren Slater and Meagan Smith, finished with 13 and 11 points, respectively.

Maddie Comly scored 23 points, including two 3s, to pace the Squirettes, who rebounded from Friday's loss to York Catholic to improve to 11-3.

Red Lion 72, Spring Grove 49: Jen Horvatinovic scored 20 points, including four of her team's nine 3-pointers, to lead the Lions.
