Ashley Roman had 15 points and 11 rebounds, and Macey Hollenshead added 15 points and 11 assists Bard said, "Taelor and Ashley played great. Morton was 11-for-14 from the field and Ashley had a size advantage inside so we kept feeding her the ball." For Shanksville, point guard Kayla Stockenus scored 28 points Bard said, "She averages 31.5 per game and we threw two or three girls at her just trying to hold her under her average."

Trying to keep its unbeaten record intact and facing a team it had never beaten before, Mercersburg Academy came through with an 11-point victory over Peddie Teal Tasker (of Chambersburg) paced the Blue Storm (9-0, 1-0 MAPL) with 12 points and McKenzie Brink (also of Chambersburg) grabbed 10 rebounds Mercersburg assistant coach David Bell said, "Peddie won the MAPL 10 years in a row and didn't lose a league game, but they lost their coach three years ago and haven't been the same since. But this is the first we've been able to beat them. We put good pressure on them, got some turnovers and took them out of their rhythm."
