Kennard-Dale used a big fourth quarter to keep the Cedar Crest girls' basketball team from recording a win in Wrightsville on Friday night.

In the third-place game of the Eastern York Tournament in Wrightsville, the Rams outscored the Falcons 21-12 in the fourth quarter en route to the 46-37 win. Kennard-Dale broke open a 25-all game with the run to earn the victory. The loss dropped Cedar Crest to 2-6 overall.

The game was tight until the fourth, with the score 8-8 after one and the Falcons leading 18-17 at halftime before it became tied at 25 entering the fourth quarter. Kennard-Dale's Sara Tarbert scored 14 of her game-high 27 points in the final eight minutes of play.

Alex Rich paced Cedar Crest's offense with 11 points.

  • Northern Lebanon 35, Halifax 34: In the third-place game of the Annville-Cleona Holiday Tournament, the Vikings pulled out a one-point victory, the team's sixth win in eight games. Mariah LiBrandi led all scorers with 14 points, while Kristen Lessing added 13.

    Halifax (4-3) led 19-12 at halftime of the low-scoring contest before Northern Lebanon (6-3) used a 13-5 spurt through the third quarter to take a one-point, 25-24 lead into the final period.

    At press time, there was no report on the championship game between Annville-Cleona and Steel-High.
