Nick Traettino and the West York boys' basketball team attempted a furious comeback in the second half Monday against Eastern York, but the Bulldogs fell short, 68-52, despite nine 3-pointers.

Eastern York went ahead 33-9 at halftime thanks in part to Dalton Reichard, who had 16 points, and four other players who eventually finished with double-digit scoring.

West York roared back with 43 points behind Traettino's five 3-pointers and 17 total points, but it wasn't enough.
