BOYS' GOLFER OF THE YEAR
Josh Rinehart, West York: The Bulldogs junior, a three-time All-Star, won the YAIAA individual title for the third straight year, shooting a 68 at Briarwood East.
His division-best 71.8 average helped lead West York to the YAIAA Division II crown. He also finished third in Class AAA at the District 3 tournament and was a PIAA East Regional participant.
GIRLS' GOLFER OF THE YEAR
Malori Bloss-Senft, Northeastern: Also a member of the Bobcats girls' soccer team, a highlight from her season included taking medalist honors at the league tournament at Regents Glen with a 90.
ALL-STARS
Mike Bair, Eastern York: A senior, Bair was a four-year participant in the YAIAA tournament. This season, he helped lead the Golden Knights to a second-place finish with Division II's second-best average (76.2). He also was a District 3 participant this year.
Andrew Davis, Eastern York: Davis established himself on the scene with a solid freshman season, carding an 81.2 average, seventh-best in the division, and making it to the second day of the District 3 tournament in postseason play.
Axel
Chris Stokalis, West York: A District 3 and YAIAA tournament participant, Stokalis' 79.7 average was good enough for fifth in Division II and helped the Bulldogs capture the division title.
Devin Moore, York Suburban: Moore's highlight of the season came when he took medalist honors at Regents Glen with a 69. His 76.5 league average ranked third in the division and he took part in the YAIAA and District 3 tournaments in the postseason.
COACH OF THE YEAR
Steph Lesser, Eastern York: Lesser's Golden Knights finished runner-up to West York in Division II, with a consistent lineup that produced two All-Stars. One of them, Andrew Davis, is poised to keep Eastern towards the top of the standings for years to come.
