FAIRFIELD -- After playing in dreary weather for their past few matches, the Mid Penn Colonial Division competed on a clear, dry day Friday, which helped to several team-low scores for the season.

Chambersburg was not one of the teams to shoot a season low, but the Trojans still walked away without a stain on their record, shooting a 404 to take first place.

Waynesboro (425), James Buchanan (433) and Shippensburg (433) had their best days of the season, and took places two through four, respectively.

Waynesboro's Tyler Bricker had the lowest individual score with a 75. It was the lowest varsity score of his career.

"Tyler lit it up today," Waynesboro coach Ryan Henderson said. "It was great to see him play so well. I knew he had it in him to go lower."

Trojans Austin Green and Nick Stonesifer took second and third place, respectively, with scores of 76 and 77. Chambersburg had five golfers in the top nine, which helped them to the team victory.

Mitchell Beattie finished tops for Shippensburg with a 78, good for fourth place. Waynesboro's Ben Weber rounded out the top five by shooting an 80.

James Buchanan's Isaac Sipes (82) finished with his team's lowest score and was seventh overall. Greencastle-Antrim's top score came from Eli Englehart, who shot a 96.
