Dallastown had no answers for the Hershey offense, which poured in 13 goals during the first half of a 20-4 rout in the fisrst round of the District 3 girls' lacrosse tournament.Susan Clark scored six goals, and Sarah Lecher had five for the second-seeded Trojans, who outscored Dallastown 7-0 in the second half. Elizabeth Hanks and Katie Reeb each scored three goals for the winners.

Jillian Hartman and Carley Smith each had two goals and an assist for the Wildcats. Goalkeeper Sara Wagner collected seven saves.

Dallastown concluded its season with an 11-6 record.

   --- Cocalico 17, South Western 4: The Eagles peppered the Mustangs net with nine first-half goals and went on to eliminate South Western from the District 3 playoffs.

Kari Longstaff scored five goals for Cocalico, the No. 8 seed. Avery Longstaff added three goals and two assists. Brook Worth, Hayley Mitchell, and Alex Lambert had two goals apiece for the Eagles, who outshot the visitors 48-15.

Mustangs' goalie Becca Silver managed 23 saves against the Eagles' attack. Katie Wherley scored two goals and Rachel Sharkey and Jessica Kopenhaver added one apiece.

South Western finished its season with a 12-5 record.
