HAGERSTOWN, Md. -- The Chambersburg indoor track and field team competed in the Mountain Express Holiday Open Wednesday at Hagerstown Community College and had some good results.

In the 55-meter hurdles, Daniesa Lyles won with a time of 9.16, which is also a school record previously set by Bridget Hawkins in 2006.

In the 800-meter relay, the team of Dakota Grove, Deandre Burrell, Marcus Elbel and ConRoy Smith blazed to a time of 1:40.34, taking second place overall. In the 300-meter run, Krystal Swasey set a school record (46.95) while finishing in sixth place.

Also, Amanda Musser was fifth in the shot put (27-9 1/4) while Scott Morrison grabbed a pair of sixth-place times in the 1600 (4:53.64) and the 800 (2:12.76). Ryun Holder was seventh in the 800 and Garrett Myers was eighth in the mile.
